She held executive positions at such organisations as Sedmoi Kontinent, Russian Satellite Communications Company and Sibintek. Marina has also founded a language school and a marketing agency. Marina holds an MBA degree.

Elena has been working in the venture market since 2011. From 2014 to 2018 she was CEO of the largest investment platform in Russia, and has extensive experience with the largest Russian business incubator HSE. Before managing work with holding companies at VTB Bank in Moscow, Elya was responsible for setting up the VTB office in Asia. Prior to VTB, Elya was in charge of the CIS structured products department of Goldman Sachs’ London office, and headed the equivalent department of Merrill Lynch in London.

Elya holds a Master’s degree in Law from Duke University, USA, and is a qualified lawyer in the state of New York, USA, as well as in Kazakhstan. Before joining investment banks, Elya practiced financial law with Bracewell and Giuliani.

Attracted over $2M in funding for Research & Development for Nanotechnology Center; Spearheaded $4.6M project to create innovative infrastructure for business incubation of start-ups in the field of Internet-of-Things, micro- and nanoelectronics. Led $50M investment project and established the Zelenograd Nanotechnology Center which generated over 60 engineering jobs and a line on manufacture of CMOS technology microchip prototype. Directed implementation of $7M system development for automated distribution and control of heating and electricity; system installed in multiple multi-level buildings in Russian cities.
